TU DANG Design is an independent fashion label from Vietnam, founded by designer Tu Dang.
The label explores the relationship between the body, silhouette and construction through contemporary silhouettes, considered proportions and experimental pattern cutting.
Rooted in craftsmanship while looking toward the future, Tu Dang Design develops garments that move between tailoring, deconstruction and everyday function.
Rather than following seasonal trends, the brand focuses on creating pieces with a distinct identity, garments shaped by material, construction and the process of making.

Tu Dang is a Vietnamese fashion designer, educator and the founder of Tu Dang Design. His practice focuses on garment construction, proportion and contemporary reinterpretation, with pattern cutting playing a central role in the development of his work.
FROM MAKING TO DESIGN
For Tu Dang, design begins with making. Through pattern cutting, fitting and hands-on experimentation, ideas are developed directly through the garment and the body.
The process is not always linear. Proportion, movement and construction are continuously tested and refined until the garment finds its final form.
FROM PATTERN
Pattern cutting is where proportion becomes structure. Each line is tested against the body, refined through balance, movement and form.
TO GARMENT
From the first cut to the final stitch, each piece is shaped through hands-on construction, fitting and refinement.
